From safer beauty products for adults to gentler products for little ones, everyone it seems is becoming more aware of the ingredients in their routine. And you know what I say to all that: Hell yeah!
And now that I’ve tried tons of baby care products for my kids–and ended up stealing some of the best for myself–I’ve come to realize that some of these guys can pull double duty for mom, too!
With organic coconut, jojoba, and sunflower seed oils, this is like a drink of moisture for your skin. The bonus is that it doesn’t come with the hefty price tags of some other body oils marketed just for adults.
And because there’s no fragrant oil in this formulation, those with sensitive skin can use it as well!
There is no bubble bath that lathers–or smells–better. I’m partial to the lavender, but other scents we’ve used and loved (and by we, I mean the whole family) are Sweet Orange Vanilla, Sweet Almond, or for those who don’t like fragrance, Unscented. (And just a note: All Honest’s fragrances are naturally sourced. Bonus!)
This lotion is light enough to sink right in, but thick enough to deliver serious moisture to both your skin and baby’s. The pump dispenser is perfect for leaving right near baby’s changing table so you can smooth it onto your bambino during clothing and diaper changes.
Free of artificial fragrances but still delicious because it smells like roses, this is a good option for a nice nighttime soak. Epsom salts are known for their healing properties, and this one can be used in baby’s nighttime bath routine, or thrown into your tub for a little TLC after a long day of kid-chasing.
Great for baby’s hair and body, and yours too! I used this as a stand-in body wash when I would run out, and ended up liking it just as much for myself as I did for the kids. The tea tree scent invigorates; the lavender is nice and soothing. Use on a pouf for extra bubbles!
