I can’t believe it any more than you can, but it’s time to start buying holiday gifts. (Unless you’re the type that already has it under control, which I most definitely do not!)
I thought it would be helpful to put together some gift guides this year as I know I’m always one to browse other people’s faves.
On that note, enjoy some of my favorite picks $30 and under. A good gift does not have to be expensive! In fact, most of the gifts I use most frequently fall into this category (see: water kettle and loose-leaf tea mug.)
This half-zip pullover is so chic. I love to throw my half-zip sweatshirt over my shoulders on chilly mornings for a chic preppy look; and it’s just as cute when it’s on!
I’m not kidding when I say I use my water-boiling kettle daily. It’s how I make my morning matcha! The quickest and best way to boil water for anything.
The Ordinary makes insanely-high-quality skincare products at prices so low it’s shocking. This is a great hyaluronic acid for anyone who wants to try the ingredient on their skin (hint hint: teens!), or can stand in in your routine as an extra hydrating step. You just can’t go wrong with the quality, and the price (UNDER $9. What?!)
If you want to get the perfect nude lip, there is no better combo than the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk liner and lipstick. This set of minis is perfect to try it out, and will last months.
I’m always digging around in my cabinets when I have to bring a charcuterie board to a party, looking for a cute board to plate it all. This one is going in my shopping cart! It would look just as cute leaning against your kitchen countertop wall as well! Great gift for the chronic entertainer in your group.
There are some things that live in my purse makeup bag. A travel-sized boar bristle brush is one of them. I use it to do my kids’ hair on the go, and comb through mine, constantly. You won’t regret having this on hand, and neither will the person who you gift it to!
I recently got a loose-leaf tea-brewing mug and some loose leaf tea as a gift, and even though it’s something I’d never buy for myself because I couldn’t justify getting something separate from my regular old mugs, I’ve been using mine so much lately. It makes sipping my tea that much chic-er and more fun!
One thing about me is I cannot stand bare feet in the house. Outside on the grass? Yes! On our hard floors (where there are lots of crumbs from the kids, haha), no thanks! I have a ton of slippers and “house socks” that I wear around the house all the time, and I love this adorable lilac pair. So luxe looking!
