This week on WGT we are doing things a little differently! You’re getting two amazing episodes this week, and the first one is already out!

In this bonus episode, I sit down for a candid and raw conversation with two moms of trans and/or queer children, and we discuss all the basics of sex and gender; how their children came out; and how they came to a place of understanding and support.

There are so many revelations in this interview from both Dahn and Vanessa, the least of which isn’t the role we play as parents as choosing to be either support networks, or critics, in our kids’ lives.

When Vanessa, a parent/teen coach, talked about how she walks parents through the path of understanding themselves in order to then accept their LGBTQ+ child, it was revelatory, as was Dahn’s touching story of her son having the spiritual depth to understand who he truly is, and come to her with his new identity.
