But now that I’m three deep in with the kid stuff, I’ve fallen into a pattern that’s seemed to work pretty well for us, and over the years I’ve come to realize that all the things I was doing (or not doing) instinctively actually line up pretty well with a style of parenting known as attachment parenting.
I’m not here to tell you this is the best way to do it. You do you, boo! I am here to tell you, though, that this is what has worked for me and my kids.
It should go without saying that with every method of parenting, there are critics; attachment parenting is no different. So let me reiterate: Just because this is what works for me, doesn’t mean it will work for everyone!
