When you’ve been called “Simba,” and the person speaking isn’t referencing your ability to sprint across the savannah and/or track down and catch prey, chances are it’s in reference to your hair. Your big, kind-of-crazy, usually-crispy-dry hair.

I’ve been a kid factory for years now. Between the pregnancies (3 in 5 years), and nursing (these boobs have been at it for a total of FOUR YEARS WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL), the long-term physical impact adds up.

While each is challenging, coming with its own set of positives and negatives, there is one truth when I reflect back on my experience as a whole.

Let me just get right to the point: Traveling with three young kids is a complete shit show. But a fun shit show! And one that can provide you with endless stories to regale them with for years to come!
