For me and my fellow Xennials, this means the 80s and 90s. (And yes, I’m aware that Levi’s were cool before then, as well. But stay with me here.)And now I’m going to tell you something that is going to make you feel two things: 1) Old, and 2) Possibly stupid:There is an entire section on Etsy devoted to people selling old pairs of Levi’s jeans.!!!This theoretically means that you, too, could be hundreds richer as a result of all the poor fashion decisions you made way back when you were idolizing Clarissa, worshipping Jordan Catalano, and likely falling in love with Romeo-and-Juliet-era Leo. SWOON.And if you’re anything like me, you’re probably convinced that there was absolutely no element of 90s style that you ever wanted to revisit, like, ever again. (Although I am a major fan and active participant of the Return of the Scrunchie.)…Until I found another pair of Levi’s that I love. And this time, I don’t have to take my parents’ credit card to buy them. This pair of Levi’s has been on rotation–heavily–in my closet, so I wanted to dedicate a post to them. I like to think they have just the right amount of nostalgia in fit and feel, without giving me fashion flashback nightmares.Stylish, comfortable, and perfect to wear with just about anything you have in your closet, these are definitely a pair to invest in! I’ve dressed mine up with heels (see HERE), and I’ve worn them rolled up with sneakers and a t-shirt on the weekend, and they’ve looked equally great.Enjoy! And long live the 90s!
