Well, friends, another Thanksgiving is in the books. How many weeks til our waistlines recover? 😀 This year was the first I hosted my family and friends, and I don’t mind saying—despite the days-long preparation and exhaustion—I think we nailed it. I’m not saying it was a five-star meal, but we got good reviews on the (acutally juicy!) turkey, the stuffing, the casserole and the décor. How I can be 35 and still not have a proper turkey baking platter as well as, oh, just about every other element of decorative finery (thanks, Mom, for letting me use your chargers!), I will leave to explain another day. The point is, with the help of family, we pulled it off, and so far, no one has gotten food poisoning! #winning In the spirit of the carb-tastic days ahead of us, I’m sharing my mom’s recipe for stuffing in hopes that you’ll be able to try it. It’s pretty basic, but I promise, it’s good! WHAT YOU NEED:2 bags dried bread cubes2 sticks butter1 sweet onion1 head of celery2 boxes of fresh mushrooms2 eggs2 family-sized cans of cream of mushroom soup WHAT YOU DO:
