When I launched The Style Project at the beginning of 2018, the goal was simple: Stock my closet with items that were classic, stylish, but most importantly, that I would enjoy wearing.

As anyone with a kid (or three) knows, comfort is key for daily style. That’s why so many of the pieces I choose to share are versatile and washable. Because dry cleaning? Ain’t nobody got time for that.

These are the pieces I’ve found myself reaching for dozens of times since I purchased them. Let’s take a look back!

These Gap camo pants are so versatile. I wear them with plain tees usually, but I feel like you could also do a button-down denim shirt with them and have it look just as casual-cute.

This gold sweater by BP is now on sale for $25. (!!!) This gold tone surprisingly goes with so many other colors, and the blend on this guy is super soft. Love!

This Chriselle x JOA blazer is unfortunately no longer available, but a basic black and white blazer will go SO far in your wardrobe, guys. Seriously consider this as an option for days when you want to feel a little more pulled-together in a pinch. I’ve linked some other options below.

Everyone needs a great pair of sneakers you can dress up or down. These guys by Vionic are just that. And to boot, they are probably the most comfortable shoes I own. (Hello, theme park days!)

A great button-down is also a Must in my book. I’ve worn this for business meetings and also to run to pick up the kids. Everything Madewell does is so effortlessly cool. Adding any of their pieces to your closet would be a great idea, but this one especially has my vote!
