This is the part where you give me serious side-eye for paying $95 for a body lotion. Guilty as charged. Also, when you write about beauty products, that’s what we call a tax writeoff! HOWEVER! Perhaps money not well spent.I had the best intentions with this product, because when I got a sample a while back, I absoutely loved this lotion.Fast forward another couple months when I have the full-sized bottle, and now I gotta say… meh.It’s not bad, it’s just not great, which I feel it should be for $95. I don’t know what happened from the days I was sampling this to the days I was using the full-sized bottle, but either I was mistaken in my initial assessment or they changed the formula.When I use this after shaving my legs at night, my skin is always dry in the morning, after it’s all soaked in. That’s the biggest knock against it. Otherwise, the smell is divine, the consistency is great, and I’ve also really enjoyed other products from the line.But this one was a miss for me.

Beautystat Vitamin C Serum

I’m a week into using this and already I’m seeing sun spots and acne scars fade. I’m going to have to do a full, separate post on this after I let it work its magic for a little while longer, but so far I’m sold.The texture is similar to a silicone primer; it almost dries out when you blend it. Not sticky, not tacky… just great. And it hasn’t irritated my skin either, which some other Vitamin C serums have.I use this in the morning as well as at night, because I want to fast-track the fading of these brown spots. If you’re using in the morning, of course always follow up with SPF.SHOP ITOkay, that’s it for now!
