High enough for support, short enough to be cute without hearkening back to spring break days. And they last. I wear mine multiple times weekly and beat the heck out of them, and they wash keep their shape so well.

Levi’s 501 Jean Shorts

I just got my first pair of Levi’s jean shorts and am so impressed. The denim is little heavier, and they’ve got that classic Levi’s stiffer feel, but they fit so well, hit in the right spots, and they’re also half the price of a lot of designer options. Must try.

Madewell High Waist Button Down Shorts

I’ve got my eye on this pair of jean shorts by Madewell–the buttons add a little something, and they’d look adorable with chic sandals with a button down and heels for a dressier moment.
