If it were a houseguest, we would have kicked him to the curb. If it were a movie, we’d walk out. A friend, we’d break up. You get the point. The moral of the story? We are all looking for brighter skies ahead.
Well… let’s not get all, in the words of the illustrious Sarah Palin, “too hopey-changey” too soon. While I’m always a fan of “finding the lesson,” or using the challenges of the present to better oneself for the future, I’m also here to tell you that right now is categorically not the time to get all curious and snoop into the predictions for 2021.
Because if you think 2020 has been–in the most optimistic of descriptors–the time we grew through difficulty–then 2021 will be the time we all said HOLY SHIT WHAT THE F IS HAPPENING TO OUR WORLD. At least if you listen to what astrologers are saying about it.
One quick Google search of “Pluto return to the U.S. 2021” [go ahead, I’ll wait here], will yield the following top result:
Now if you aren’t an anxious-as-hell human being like I am, I’m sure that little phrase right there is enough to make you one.
I’m going to temper my (your? our?) anxiety about this apparently impending doom by stating the obvious: Astrology isn’t a specific science. Some would say it’s not even a science at all! But! But but BUT. If you do a little digging and devote yourself to an open mind, you will see that impactful events in our country, in particular, have occurred under this very same astrological lineup before.
Read more about the similarities here.
In the meantime, allow me to share some choice quotes with you about what the stars say could be in store for us in the year 2021, from an astrological guide. [Please keep all hands and feet in the vehicle at all times because MAMA YOU AIN’T READY.]
“[I]t is not far off to say that there is a battle for the “soul” of this country being waged that has its citizens thinking about and questioning the founding principles that were created when the official nation was born in 1776. Like a very powerful earthquake shaking a major city, this transit will show us what societal structures have become weak and must fall down, which ones will still be standing, and what new ones need to be built from the rubble of the old.” (From AskAstrology.com. Full article here.)
“Centuries of lies and deceit are finally being revealed to us and to turn our heads the other way in favor of so-called “safety” provided by those who have held us in captivity would be a collective suicide. It’s time to remember who we are and what we are capable of, no matter where we are from.” (From Readings by Yerevan. Full article here.)
Meantime, I’ll be stocking up on my CBD water and sourdough bread starter kits. Cheers to “self-growth!” And BUCKLE UP, BABY!
