Enter BumpStyle Box. They’re a subscription service that sends clothing items right to your front door. You try them on, decide what to keep, and send back the rest. It’s almost as easy as having a kid. HAHAHA. Just kidding. Having a kid is the hardest thing ever.
How It Works
Go to BumpStyleBox.com and create a profile. You’ll be then led to a questionnaire that helps them figure out your style, enter your credit card info, and submit. Pay a $30 stylist fee, and you’re assigned a personal maternity stylist who helps pick out clothing you might like, based on your preferences. That stylist fee then goes toward any clothing purchase you make.
I got my sweet note from my stylist Hannah literally within minutes of submitting my info. The box arrived a few days later, and I got to try everything on. Check it out below!
Pros
All in all, I was very pleased with what my stylist, Hannah, picked out for me, and how it fit.
I loved that I was able to reach her by email to make changes to my order until right before it shipped, and that she offered to help guide me through the process of choosing my pieces, as well.
The clothing is all from higher-end brands and is of great quality, and as on-trend as is available for maternity wear.
You only pay for what you keep.
Cons
The only con, in my opinion, is that you have to be aware of your return deadline. You will be charged for clothing you keep past a certain date, so make sure you try on your items promptly and return what you don’t want to keep.
Overall
I think this is a great resource for pregnant moms who don’t have time to get out to shop and try on clothing at stores. Many times, getting to the closest maternity boutique or store requires a bit of a drive, and let’s not even get started on what it’s like to try on clothing while your other young children are tagging along. So for convenience alone, this is worth it.
Add to that the one-on-one advice from a stylist, the benefit of choosing your favorite styles, and the convenience of doorstep delivery, and I’d say this is worth a try for any expecting mom who enjoys fashion!
So without further adieu, here are the items I got!
