There’s a simple reason I question this most mundane of task; every time I set that alarm for 5:25am (to presumably get to an early morning barre class, before the kids wake up and the whole household goes from Zero to BatCrap Crazy), the same thing seems to happen: The universe hysterically laughs at my intentions, throws a giant cosmic wrench into my plans, and the baby inevitably gets up three times overnight, rendering my plans for a productive morning completely useless.
So now I avoid planning much for the mornings aside from waking up, making lunches, and getting the kids dressed and out the door.
I believe in low standards, people. And you will too, after you have a few kids. 😉
All of this is to say, a great capsule wardrobe–one where you have all the basics–goes so far in helping your mornings go a little more smoothly. But the packing of lunches? That’s on you. 😉
I included pieces in here that can transition from #momlife to regular life and back–pieces that you will get major run out of during the fall season–from pickup line to playground to work and back!
