I KNOW, I know. You’re looking at me strange for talking about spirituality again. I mean, if I started walking around with a head scarf and carrying a crystal ball, I don’t think any of you would be surprised at this point. Ha!
But listen. This site is nothing if not an honest reflection of what’s happening in my life and in some cases, the world, so we gotta talk about this. Again. And this time, I’m here with advice! Specifically, it’s from a minister, spiritual coach and medium; and it’s all about making our lives a little lighter. (We’re all for that, right?)
That being said, there were so many nuggets of good information from my chat with ordained spiritualist minister Gloria J. Warner last week, I had to share them. So let’s dig in, all in the name of feeling better.
We’re all in need of a quick exercise that grounds and calms us. I asked Gloria toward the end of our interview to address the collective pain we are all experiencing. And she had a powerful mantra to repeat that can help get our minds back on track when we’re feeling burdened. The best part? This only takes seconds to do!
The Gold Pillar Visualization
“[V]isualize being in the middle of a gold pillar of light it’s totally going around you. Call in the archangels to surround you in that gold creator light, and then as you’re feeling it go through your body … you’re clearing out any darkness you might have. And then the law of the universe—”what’s empty must fill”—fill it up again with light.
[F]from your heart center send … that gold light out to the house you’re in, the city you’re in, and the whole world. Like if you’re looking at the world you’re seeing a big gold marble. Hold that for 7 seconds.
That’s all you gotta do—seven seconds, three times a day. [Do it] before you go to sleep, when you wake up and throughout the day. That’s the most powerful visualization because you as a co-creator with God are sending that light onto this planet.”
Scared of what the future holds? You’re not alone. I brought this up with Gloria and here’s her simple, but powerful, solution. It might also be useful for anyone combatting intrusive thoughts:
“What do i do with fear? Just say, only the good is true. So every time you come up with an ugly thought in your head, only the good is true.”
This is one of the more common questions Gloria gets, especially when she’s working in the capacity of a medium with her clients.
“What is the greatest fear that man, mankind has? It’s the fear of their death, it’s the fear of the unknown.
When I’m bringing in validation for somebody—how they passed, were there aches and pains, if they died traumatically, names, initials, even names and initials of people that may still be here that they never knew—they’re wanting to let the person that they’re giving a message to that they’re aware of what’s going on with their life.
And so when I’m bringing that in, isn’t that, in a sense, giving validation that, if I can bring this in, that means somewhere somehow or dimensionally, they’re still alive, that there’s a heaven? … And that’s validation from the creator that, ‘I have your loved ones, they’re here with me, they’re alive and well.’”
At this time of outward and inward unrest, wishing you peace and clarity.
