Here’s a peek inside my beauty routine, with all my recent empties and what I plan to repurchase.
One Love Organics Vitamin B cleanser: This oil cleanser is one of those products that I’ve used intermittently over the years and always am pleasantly surprised at how much I like it when I go back to it. It’s a creamy oil cleanser with a really soft, natural scent, and it rinses off with water. I still use a second, gentle cleanser to make sure everything is off. I would repurchase.
Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence: When I ran out of the Beauty of Joseon rice essence, I decided to try this essence from another Korean brand, Neogen. To be honest, it’s okay, but I don’t love it. The consistency is a little thicker than water, but it still soaks in, which is good. It just doesn’t get the highest of marks from me because—unlike with the Beauty of Joseon one—it did not even out my skin or make it feel plumper. I probably won’t repurchase.
Moonbow Renew Barrier Boosting Serum: This lightweight is just so gentle and amazing. This is the second bottle I’ve used up! When I’m using it, I notice that my skin barrier repairs itself, and I see less discoloration when I use this. I’ll repurchase. Use code SONNI15 for 15% off your order.
Mother Science Molecular Hero Serum: I wanted to love this, but I just liked it. It has a ton of great science behind it, but I just didn’t see much. It’s still a great antioxidant serum to layer under an SPF, which is why I used it up, but I won’t be repurchasing.
OneSkin Topical Skin Supplement: I dug this out of my beauty closet on a whim when I needed another moisturizer and did not expect to like it this much! My skin evened out, had a major glow, and felt really hydrated. I had a refill pouch on standby and so I’m still technically using this one. I really, really like it. I’ve shared this multiple times, but here’s a code (not mine) that will get you 15% off—KEEPINGITREAL. Would 100% repurchase. I just have some other products to get through before doing so.
Aeonia Sculpting Cream: This is another brand I always go back to. This cream is thick and luxurious, and I use it as a last step at night to lock in moisture. I feel that it plumps my skin a bit when I use it as well. Will repurchase, but only when my current cream runs out.
Beauty of Joseon’s Relief Sun + Probiotic: This is such a gentle chemical sunscreen. I’m using a second bottle of this right now too! It soaks right in, has the lightest consistency, and is totally sheer. Makes my skin glow. Never been a chemical ‘screen girlie, but these Korean formulas (with Korean SPF ingredients) have converted me. A heads up: I buy only from Stylevana, as the products sold on the U.S. Beauty of Joseon website use American sunscreen filters, which are nowhere near as gentle on my skin.
