So, how are we all doing?! What a week!
Not only did we dig into some juiciness here on the blog and podcast, but we also saw the inauguration of a new President and Vice President. What a historical week which, politics aside, is inspiring in its feeling of renewed hope and firsts. (Hello, Madame Vice President!)
Let’s wrap up some good stuff as we head into the weekend.
With this new a-topic-a-week format, I wanted to say—no worries to all my fellow beauty junkies! I’m still going to be doing tons of writing and posting on my second-favorite topic.
Look for beauty content on the weekends both here and on Instagram, starting with a cool series on High/Low product picks—high- and low-priced options in different categories, starting with Vitamin C serums. Can’t wait to geek out with you on some good beauty stuff soon.

I just discovered Marovato Italian foods, and boy oh boy, I’m hooked.
I popped into a cute Italian goods store to put together a food basket for my dad for Christmas (#AmericanItalianthings) this past holiday season, and came across these amazing vacuum-sealed “soups in a packet” by Marovato. I grabbed some for him—along with some specialty balsamic vinegar, olive oil, olives and other treats—and got some for myself too.
Last week I finally made them (the Apulian Bean Soup, to be exact), and ohmygoodness are they good! For days when you want a hearty soup that’s filling and packed with healthy ingredients, this is it! Check out their selection here. I’m going back to the store to pick up some more this weekend!
